INFO
From an early age Katharina loved Ice Dancing!
Born in Russia in cold Siberia, Katharina’s family emigrated to Germany in 1999. When she was on the ice for the first time at the age of 5, and shortly thereafter won a thropy at her very first competition, she knew that it would not be her last!
Her Ice Dancing career, which was accompanied by numerous ups and downs, slowly took its course. Her ambition and goals became bigger and bigger. Together with her Ice Dancing partner Tim Dieck she is pursuing one very big goal – the Olympic Games 2022! Participating in the Olympics will be the biggest reward for all the hard work and dedication that she and Tim invest day by day.
Ice Dancing is a mixture of physical fitness, musicality, creativity, dance and perfectionism. All of which are qualities that Katharina embodies and acts out – on and off the ice. She loves the extravagance, the extraordinary!
“Sharing joy and laughter gives me great pleasure, my sense of justice and helping people is a big part of me, and I’m a bit crazy too :)”
